but the birth rate isnt due to condoms---its because women are given a choice ---either work or get married/have kids. Many are picking work now cause they want their louis vanton bags w/o any attachments (spouse).....just means that by 2050 there will be lots of apartments in Tokyo for rent--real cheap!
ps read the list to my husband....he agreed for the most part with both of them.

I'd disagree. I'd put that down to the reasons why men and women go shopping.
Women go shopping for pleasure, and don't usually know exactly what they want to buy. They browse around a lot and try different things before deciding whether they want to buy them or not. This is why women's departments are large and have things spread out - women will be forced to wander around more things that they could be tempted to buy, thus increasing the store's potential for profit.
Men, on the other hand, go shopping with a purpose. They know what they want to buy, which store they need to visit, which shelf/rack it will be on and how much it's going to cost. Men don't browse in the same way and tend to be in and out in 2 minutes flat. Yes, men's departments tend to be right next to the door, but that's mainly because there's no point in making men walk past racks and racks of stuff that they're probably not even going to glance at before they find what they want, pay for it and leave.

That is very true - I worked briefly as a retail consultant (basically) and that is generally the game plan. I know for sure that 95% of the time when I go shopping I have definite ideas of what I'm buying or looking for and I want to get done and get home asap.

All true. Couldn't agree more. Haha.. I can go "shopping" for hours and not buy anything.. looking/trying/exploring is the fun part.
My boyfriend on the other hand.. he knows what he wants and he'll go buy just there at the store he knows it's at.
I'm always like.. "lets go shopping!" and he'll ask me for what? and i'll just answer "I don't know.. anything.." haha.. and he'll just tag a long. ^^

ugh----my hubby wants to go to the book store (or the music store, but that has mostly changed) ANY time---he can be in the book store for HOURS and not buy anything (and not sit and read anything either)-----he hates clothing shopping because he doesnt KNOW what he WANTS....so he cant find it!
I on the other hand, go shopping for a purpose (I usually make a list), I also hate shopping for clothing (cause none of it is made for WOMANs figures--I am NOT a kid who wants to show my mid section ).....I usually buy from catalogues now (geez I am becoming my mom)......
About the only place (besides the bookstore, hey we got together for a reason ya'know), that I like to peruse is the grocery store!! I like to see what new foods are out, see what things I cant find at other stores they might carry---

I like to wander the EB games stores, subtly insulting the people I see at the console sections and leaving them feeling angry without my ever having said anything outrightly rude. I also like to drive through Chinatown (Chinese section of Toronto) with Japanese flags mounted on my car. In short, I troll in real life as well as on forums, though in real life it takes a certain delicacy and caution.

I'm sorry, but if my girlfriend did that to me twice, I'd leave her. It's really no laughing matter. I would never "tag along" shopping no matter who it was.

Thank you so much for the humor of Rita Rudner. I miss her on SNL. Women like her don't come along very often. It was much fun to read.

Who knows what the highest IQ ever is or has been. There are so many claims out there, but this is the most frequently perpetuated claim. I suspect it's more 'smart' PR than anything else.
